Holy Hashtag, Batman! The Dynamic Duo bring old school flare to the 21st Century!
The stars of the original 60s TV Series Batman — Adam West (Batman), Burt Ward (Robin) and Julie Newmar (Catwoman) — return to give voice to their former roles in animated form.
In Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders, the protectors of Gotham face off against Catwoman and her felonious accomplices Joker, Penguin and Riddler. And in true Bat-form, West and Ward step back into their costumes (so to speak) in a teaser clip as they escape a dastardly trap:
The live action Batman film recently celebrated its 50th Anniversary. West and Ward starred in the film at the height of “Batmanania.” Newmar was not in this film. Catwoman was played by Lee Meriwether.
Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders comes to Digital HD on October 11, and Blu-ray on November 1.
