Today at NYCC’s Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders world premiere, Sam Register, president of Warner Bros. Animation, announced that the next DC Comics animated film will be a sequel to the throwback film, titled Batman vs. Two-Face.
The panel ended with Register revealing that the film will feature a character that had not appeared in the 1966 TV series and showing a silhouette that resembled Two-Face, only to have it fade to a video of William Shatner, the actor well-known for his role as Captain James T. Kirk in Star Trek: The Original Series.
Shatner then revealed the title of the film and announced that he will be voicing Harvey Dent, better known as Two-Face. No further details were relayed after the panel ended, which means no official release date has been announced.
Though very few details were given, it is very likely that Batman vs. Two-Face will release some time in early 2017.
