On the next episode of Gotham, Jerome returns from the dead.

This preview brings up a few questions for me. The first, obviously, is whether or not Jerome’s resurrection is because of Hugo Strange. It would be weird if it wasn’t related to that at all. Additionally, does this resurrection mean that Jerome is indeed the Joker or still a red herring? Cameron Monaghan was a fun presence but his character is from the worst period of this show. I’m a little concerned that the show might sink back to its quality in season two. I hope that is not the case as the show has improved a great deal this season but we shall have to wait and see.

In this clip, Penguin is haunted by a ghostly vision of his father. Paul Reubens returns as Peguin’s father which is cool. I am curious what is going on in this scene. I imagine it’s just a hallucination but, knowing this show, it could be an actual ghost.
