Here’s a piece that will make you quite gleeful. Actor Darren Criss has been cast as Music Meister and will make his debut as the virtuoso villain in episode 16 of Supergirl’s second season, properly titled “Duet”, which is a the first half of the two-part crossover episode and will continue in The Flash the next night.
The casting for this character couldn’t be better as Criss is best known for his role as Blaine Anderson on Glee and will be reuniting with fellow alums of the popular comedy series, Grant Gustin(Barry Allen) and Melissa Benoist(Kara Danvers) for the musical crossover event.
Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg tells TV Line :
“With our Flash and our Supergirl being Glee alums, how could we not have them go up against another Glee favorite like Darren Criss?. We have been blown away by his talent over the years and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the Music Meister.”
