Season 3 of the hit DC series Legends of Tomorrow has begun filming, but just like the show itself, the production appears to have had its timeline disrupted.
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim has taken to Twitter announce that production has begun on its third season where they will begin with shooting episode 2.

It’s believed that this episode, titled Freak Show will introduce previously announced Billy Zane as P.T. Barnum so it’s likely that Zane’s busy schedule delayed production on the first episode.
The third season will be shooting out-of-order so that they can at least make a start.
Shooting out-of-order is far from ideal as it can throw off both actors and writers but is often necessary when incorporating guest stars, among other reasons.
Episode 2 of the third season is written by Keto Shimizu and Grainne Godfree and directed by Kevin Tancharden.
Legends of Tomorrow is scheduled to return October 10th following the season premiere of The Flash.
