Sideshow Collectibles have been a leading manafacturer in the Pop Culture industry creating high quality products across a wide range of themes that fans have grown to love over the years. At San Diego Comic Con I spent time with them and covered their DC range. The coverage focused on DC products that are available now for purchase and upcoming products that are not yet released. Never before have Sideshow presented as many upcoming pieces from their roadmap which was very exciting because fans now get to see what is coming rather than just what is out now. The bad news is that your wallet or purse is going to feel it because there are so many products you will want, it will just be a case of “Shhhh, just take my money”.
I first spoke with Andy who manages PR at Sideshow, and he took us through a few featured DC products, while Tim was a special guest who specialises in fabric design of certain pieces and we were lucky enough to get his time and he took us through the Suicide Squad Joker statue that was quite unique in comparison to what has historically been released by the collectible giant. Below is the direct interview on the floor followed by our gallery (pictures by Sidney Eubanks) of the products covered.

My favourite piece on the Sideshow floor was the Thomas Wayne / Batman statue from the Flashpoint story. The colour, articulation, and detail was far superior than anything I saw. The imposing figure grabs your attention and draws you into the character immediately. A piece I would love to add to my personal collection.
