It’s been no secret that some fans felt that last season of The Flash was a little bleak. Well, have no fear, the next season of the Scarlet Speedster’s show will find Barry enjoying his powers once again. What does that mean for his over all state of mind after he returns from the Speed Force? Grant Gustin who plays Barry Allen/The Flash had this to say:

“So, I think when he comes out, he’s had this awakening and understanding of things that he’s never done before and he’s been able to let go of a lot of things that initially when we see him he’s also kind of confused and jumbled and it’s been a lot, so he’s not really himself. I got to have a really fun one-off kind of episode for my first episode back, but then — moving forward from that — we’ll see a really positive kind of Barry that will be able to appreciate his powers in a way that we used to see him appreciate them. We’re just going to have more fun this year. It’s going to be good.”

Fun does not mean that there won’t be chaos. Hazard, The Thinker and Peak-A-Boo will be making life hard on our heroes. If you happened to see the Comic-Con trailer you may have noticed a samurai. What does it all mean? We’ll find out when The Flash returns Oct. 10th.
