If you’ve been itching for the return of Helena Bertinelli aka The Huntress (Jessica De Gouw) on Arrow you may be in luck for season six. Now that her latest gig is finished after Underground was cancelled, she is ready and willing to come back to make trouble for the Emerald Archer and his gang.
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim had this to say when asked about the possibility:
“I want to say, ‘Absolutely.’ Jessica De Gouw has expressed an absolute willingness to come back. Jessica’s a favorite actor of mine, and the Huntress is a favorite character of mine. I want to make it happen in Season 6. We’ve got some plans for the later half of the year that I think she will fit into really well, so we’ll see.”
The character has been in prison since season 2 after trying to seek revenge on her father for the death of her fiancé. Not to mention trying to kill Laurel.
And while we are talking rumors here, could the plans he was talking about be the Birds Of Prey? We’d like to see Huntress team up with Dinah Drake’s Black Canary and Felicity Smoak’s Overwatch.
Arrow returns Oct. 12.
