Batman: The Animated Series will be getting a release as a remastered Blu-Ray collection in 2018 from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. It was announced on Sunday afternoon during the “Batman: The Animated Series 25th Anniversary” panel.

The long-time animation publicist Gary Miereanu informed the crowd about the collection, but a release date and price point were not confirmed. 1993’s Batman: Mask of the Phantasm was also released as a remastered Blu-Ray this past July.

Batman: The Animated Series debuted in 1992, and is listed as one of the best comic book television shows of all time. The original series ran from 1992 to 1995 and won four Emmys. There was also a follow-up series titled The New Batman Adventures, which aired from 1997 to 1999, for a total of 109 episodes.

The panel, which celebrated the 25th anniversary of the show, was attended by Kevin Conroy who voiced Batman. Also The New Batman Adventures Batgirl voice actor, Tara Strong along with Batman: The Animated Series producers Bruce Timm and Alan Burnett made appearances.

Batman: The Animated Series happens to be my personal favorite and I hope all you fans out there are just as excited as me for the upcoming collection.
