Writer: James T Tynion IV

Artists: Eber Ferrera and Eddy Barrows

Summary

“A LONELY PLACE OF LIVING” part three! It’s a race to save the future of Tim and his team as Red Robin tries to escape his prison outside of time and find his way back to Earth.

Positives

The first thing you notice about the book is the art, as Ferrera and Barrows, are at the top of their game combining super realistic with a touch of Alex Ross’s style. The way Tynion crafts this story weaves some melodrama into this crime thriller, especially with the return of Tim Drake.

This Tim Drake is actually from another time and place, which makes it more than your average Batman story. The last positive I found is Tynion has decided to bring the whole Bat team into this storyline, and seeing all these characters work together is nice to see, especially as most of them have their own books.

Negatives

There are no negatives worth mentioning in this issue.

Verdict

Buy this book now, as the creative team behind it are firing on all cylinders, and I cannot see them letting up anytime soon.
