‘Batman: Gotham By Gaslight’ Gets A Release Date

One of DC’s most beloved Elseworlds tales, Gotham by Gaslight, is finally being made in to an animated film with a release date of  January 23, 2018 for digital and on Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD February 6, 2018.
Based on the one-shot by by Brian Augustyn and Mike Mignola, Gotham By Gaslight tells the tale of a steampunk Batman hunting Jack the Ripper in Victorian Gotham City. Gotham is hosting the World’s Fair and having a serial killer running around will not do (hints of Devil in the White City abound). Who doesn’t want to see the world’s greatest detective go toe to toe with one of the most notorious serial killers in history? The cast includes Bruce Greenwood as Batman, Jennifer Carpenter as Selina Kyle, Scott Peterson as James Gordon, Anthony Head as Alfred, Yuri Lowenthal as Harvey Dent, John DiMaggio as Chief Bullock, William Salyers as Hugo Strange and Grey Griffin as Sister Leslie. The cast also includes voice over notables Tara Strong, Bob Joles, David Forseth, Chris Cox, Lincoln Melcher and Kari Wuhrer.
