After a thorough investigation Warner Bros. Television has now fired Andrew Kreisberg from their lineup of DC Comics television shows on The CW.
Weeks ago Kresiberg was suspended from his role when allegations of sexual misconduct surfaced. Nineteen people came forward, both men and women to accuse Kreisberg of touching people or kissing women without their consent or asking for massages from the female staff.
Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter released a joint statement saying:
Warner Bros. Television Group recently concluded its investigation into the allegations against Andrew Kreisberg. We encouraged and supported this investigation, we believe and support the individuals who came forward, and we agree with the studio’s decision. Nothing is more important to us than the safety and well-being of all our colleagues — co-workers, crew and staff alike.
Kreisberg acted as showrunner on both Arrow and The Flash, he served as executive producer on Supergirl, DC Legends of Tomorrow and The CW Seed animated series The Vixen.
