The Trial Of Barry Allen Takes Center Stage In The Flash Season 4 Trailer

In the mid-season premier of CW’s The Flash, Barry Allen will be on on trial for a murder he did not commit. Flash will weigh the option of going public with his secret identity in a high-stakes courtroom drama.

The new season of The Flash will premiere January 16th (alongside some of the other CW superhero dramas during that week) and the focal point of this premiere will be the trial of Barry Allen for the homicide of Cliff Devoe (Spoilers: he didn’t kill him). The trial is a result of the evil machinations of the Thinker, who plotted against the recently married Barry Allen in the show’s mid-season finale.

At stake for the episode will be whether or not Barry Allen will lie on the stand or reveal to the world that he is indeed the Flash. On the show, his wife Iris has been urging Barry to stop running from his problems – which led to Barry facing trial rather than running away in a critical situation (go figure).

The trial will feature a prosecutor played by Mark Valley (which keen-eyed viewers will remember as the lead in the short lived tv show Human Target). You can check out the trailer down below:
