Snyder Reveals “Evil Batmen” Cut From Dark Nights: Metal

Most DC fans will agree that Dark Nights: Metal was one of the better comic book runs to come out last year. Recently on Twitter, a user asked Scott Snyder about the “evil Batmen” we did not get to see and this was his response:

There was a punisher style Evil Batman we didn't use b/c he wasn't dark enough but the initial ideas for the look were killer. There was a magic one, too, a dark arts Batman. But we didn't have the room. https://t.co/xSvcnDyML4

This would have been a blast for fans of the Dark Knight, as the six they finally settled on were pretty cool, but who would not want to see either of these concepts in an Elseworlds standalone book — hint hint, Jim Lee and Dan Didio.
