DC’s Legends of Tomorrow find themselves living their final days again and again, and only Zari can rescue them from their ill-timed fate, and she’s going to get some help from the most uncanny member of the team!
Time may be a luxury that’s running out for The CW’s most intrepid band of heroes! When DC’s Legends of Tomorrow return and dive into their new primetime slot on Mondays at 8pm, the team will find themselves reliving the same day leading to a catastrophe that could spell the end of for the Waverider! Unless Zari (Tala Ashe) and the ship’s AI, Gideon (Amy Pemberton) are able to figure out a plan to save the Legends, they may never escape the time loop they’re trapped in!
Perhaps it was inevitable given all the time-tripping the Legends are responsible for, but when the new episode entitled “Here I Go Again” airs on February 19, not only will Zari find herself at the center of the story, but she’ll be allied with Gideon — only the second time in the series that the AI has taken human form to interact with her crew mate. The last time that Gideon “came to life” she shared a kiss with Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) but we doubt this pair will likely share a smooch.
Considering that in their previous encounter the weather-wielding computer hacker crossed paths with Gideon, Zari made short work of the ship’s systems including the artificial intelligence that keeps things tip top. It appears that perhaps Gideon doesn’t forgive and forget, and their alliance may be as turbulent as their time-traveling. Audiences will finally get to see Zari, a Season 3 addition, really begin to cement her place within the group dynamic, and hopefully work them out of the loop.
The episode will also introduce the addition of Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) who had been rumored to be joining the cast after making the leap out of Central City, but now it can be equivocally confirmed as this episode will mark him taking a seat aboard the Waverider for the remaining run this season. Kid Flash joins the Legends at the insistence of Rip Hunter.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow returns Monday, February 12th at 8pm on The CW.
