Constantine and Kid-Flash Become Legends

With as many shake-ups as the show has seen, it may come as a surprise to many that after three seasons, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has really grown into its own and in some ways has even surpassed the one that started it all, Arrow.

The show has seen cast members come and go and even return again. Most recently Victor Garber and Franz Drameh, who together played Firestorm, exited the show.

But now Legends has returned with two new cast members to fill the empty positions, both of which are returning characters from the “Arrowverse”.

John Constantine (played by fan-favorite Matt Ryan) and Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) join the crew of the Waverider. Both characters have appeared in the Arrowverse previously on Arrow and The Flash.

Executive Producer, Marc Guggenheim says that Constantine will be on his own mission as he hunts down a demon that knows Sara’s name. And after Constantine brought Sara back to life, the two have a connection.

Guggenheim teased what that connection could mean:

“I will say that we’ve got a very randy, bisexual Constantine, and we have a very randy, bisexual Sara, and who knows what could happen if we get the two of them in teams together?”

Wally West, aka Kid-Flash will be recruited to the team by Rip Hunter himself who will also be sticking around for the foreseeable future.

Legends of Tomorrow now airs in Supergirl‘s old slot on Monday nights on The CW.
