Summary
“THE TRIAL OF BATWOMAN”! In a 30-page anniversary story, Batwoman faces scrutiny from Batman and Red Robin but stands up for her actions. Will Batman allow her to continue bearing his symbol after everything she has done?
Positives
We get a flashback where Bruce and Kate find solace in each other as they mourn their dead parents, a rather touching look at these two iconic characters. The Bat Family makes their arguments for why Batwoman shot Clayface and why it was needed versus being an option, which plays out like the Devil Versus Daniel Webster.
Barbara in this issue, and in the Batcave, becomes the dissenting opinion to Bruce’s stern law and order stance, becoming the voice of reason, a rather nice twist in the issue. The last few panels reveals more about Kate, than the last few issues have combined.
 Negatives
There are no negatives worth mentioning in this issue.

Verdict
Buy, as we find out more about the inner turmoil that the Bat Family harbors as well as who Kate is apart from Batwoman.
