One of Andy Serkis’ most memorable roles was that of Caesar in the Planet of the Apes movies. Now that Apes director Matt Reeves is set to helm The Batman, it looks like Serkis would like to continue their working relationship. In an interview with JoBlo, Andy had this to say:

Q: You worked with Matt Reeves on quite a few of those films and I’m curious – he’s working on The Batman next for WB, is there any interest for you in being a part of that or venturing into the DC universe at all?

A: “Oh, for sure! I mean, I’d go to the edge of the created universe with Matt [Reeves]. I mean, he’s the most brilliant director. I would work with anything with him again, y’know, I mean, I absolutely adore him and we’re very good friends, close friends, and I think he’s an extraordinary director so for sure.”

There would be plenty of Gothamites for Serkis to portray. Who wouldn’t like to see him play a character like Clayface?  Let us know in the comments who YOU’D like to see him play!
