If you think that DC television shows are limited only to the Arrowverse, think again. AMC’s Preacher continues a solid run on television and the show just recently released a preview of their next episode that continues to follow the adventures of Jesse Custer and his search for God (literally).

If you’re not familiar with the tv show, it’s based on a series of comics from DC under the Vertigo Comics banner. It was written by Garth Ennis and drawn by Steve Dillon. It centers around Preacher Jesse Custer who is inhabited by a spiritual being known as Genesis, the offspring of an unholy coupling of a demon and an angel. Custer is accompanied by his old girlfriend Tulip O’Hare, and a hard-drinking Irish vampire named Cassidy as they set out to find God (again literally) who has left heaven altogether.
The show is just starting its third season so there is still plenty of time to catch up.
Preacher stars Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Joseph Gilgun, Ian Coletti, Graham McTavish, Pip Torrens, Julie Ann Emery, and Malcolm Barrett.
