A whole lot of news has broken ever since the announcement of this year’s Arrowverse crossover. We know that this time around, only The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl will be involved, that the title of this year’s crossover will be “Elseworlds”, that Arkham Asylum will play a huge part in the events of the crossover, that Gotham City will be filmed in Chicago, that there are several characters that will be introduced here, including Batwoman, Lois Lane, Nora Fries, The Monitor, and Psycho-Pirate, and much more!
But the latest piece of news to drop is kind of a big one. Even though Gotham City, Arkham Asylum, and Batwoman will be heavily involved, the Dark Knight himself, Batman, will not be appearing in the crossover.
Batman won’t be in it. 😢 https://t.co/svrsL9lARU

I guess that’s that. It’s a little bit of a bummer that Batman won’t make an appearance, but it’s probably for the best as this will hopefully allow Batwoman to shine.
The Elseworlds crossover event will kick off on The Flash on Dec. 9, with Arrow continuing the story on Dec. 10, and Supergirl wrapping everything up on Dec. 11.
