Dexter‘s Jaime Murray has been cast in a secretive antagonist role for Gotham‘s final season on Fox, reports Deadline. Murray will play a seemingly new character named Theresa Walker who will recur throughout the final season.
“The character emerges as Jim Gordon’s (Ben McKenzie) principal nemesis in the season, who comes to Gotham harboring a dark secret about her past” writes the Hollywood trade.
“So exciting to be working with these fantastic actors and crew,” Murray tweeted. “I apologize in advance for any trouble I may cause in the great City of Gotham…”
In addition to her role on Dexter, Murray has also appeared in BBC’s Hustle, Starz’ Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, Syfy’s Warehouse 13, ABC’s One Upon a Time and most recently in the CW’s The Originals.
Gotham‘s fifth and final season is scheduled to begin January 3, 2019 on Fox.
