Preacher season 4, which will premiere on AMC August 4 2019, will be its final season according to executive producer Seth Rogen. The news was announced via Rogen’s twitter earlier this week, only a few days after producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg moved Point Grey Pictures, a studio owned by Sony TV, to Lionsgate.
Preacher usually has seasons ten episodes long and was renewed for its fourth season in November. The show comes from the Vertigo comic series from the 1990s by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. It follows Texas preacher Rev. Jesse Custer after he learns that God has left heaven and abandoned their responsibilities. As Jesse prepared to track God down and make him answer for his actions, he is accompanied by a strange cast of characters including his vampire ex-girlfriend Tulip O’Hare. The show stars Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Joseph Gilgun, and Lucy Griffith. What do you think of this news? Let us know in the comments!
