Now that we have one week to go until Arrow is but a memory, The CW have let loose a generous helping of photos promoting the highly anticipated series finale. Like many of those reading this, I simply can’t wait to see how the show wraps up, as I’m sure the producers have more than a few surprises up their sleeves.
Although the official synopsis provided not long ago was very cryptic in nature, the promo pictures at least give us some idea of what will occur. If I had to wager an educated guess, I’d say a funeral for Oliver Queen will be held, and Team Arrow will embark on one last adventure.
As you browse the gallery below, you’ll no doubt notice returning favorites such as John Diggle, Felicity Smoak, Laurel Lance, Mia Smoak, young William Clayton, Roy Harper, Thea Queen, Barry Allen, Sara Lance, Curtis Holt and Rory Regan. However, if you stop to take a closer look, you’ll also spot Moira and Emiko Queen. Are they somehow alive in this post-Crisis world? Time will tell.
A couple other things I couldn’t help noticing were that A) adult Mia gets to share a scene with Felicity and B) Roy now sports a robotic arm. Now that he’s living up to the name “Arsenal,” perhaps he and Thea will get their deserved happy ending.
By the way, here’s the aforementioned synopsis:
STEPHEN AMELL SIGNS OFF AS THE GREEN ARROW; EMILY BETT RICKARDS RETURNS FOR THE SERIES FINALE OF “ARROW” – After eight seasons, and the launch of countless superheroes, the series wraps up the story of the Green Arrow (Stephen Amell). Emily Bett Rickards returns as Felicity. James Bamford directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Beth Schwartz (#810). Original airdate 1/28/2020.
