Despite being a lifelong fan of Catwoman herself, it’s probably Jim Lee’s rendition of the feline fatale which first springs to mind whenever the character is mentioned around me. Well, at least that or some image of her in the costume made famous by the Batman: Hush story arc.
Perhaps the recent animated adaptation is to thank for that tale’s recent resurgence in popularity, but I’m certainly not complaining when looking at the gorgeous new figure bringing Selina Kyle to life by way of MAFEX. According to Batman News, it “will stand just under 6-inches tall and will include three portraits as well as interchangeable hands, and a whip.”
If you take the time to peruse the gallery found below, you’ll be treated to a baker’s dozen of images showing how versatile this baby is when it comes to being posable. And although it’ll cost you about $70 US at the conversion rate, I may be tempted to pick one up if I’m ever to see it at a convention.
If you’re keeping track, this marks the third MAFEX figure commemorating Hush, trailing behind Batman and Superman. Expected delivery is October 2020, so we still have some time to go.
