DC has launched a new program for kids to keep them engaged while at home. The program also lets parents in on their children’s learning. DC Kids Camp is a fun program where parents can follow the DC Kids social channels on Twitter and Instagram. The program allows parents to download superhero-themed activities and previews of past–and upcoming–middle grade graphic novels. The channels will also feature entertaining videos from authors and artists that both parents and children can watch together.

DC Kids Camp will teach kids how to draw their favorite DC superheroes, gain inspiration and skills to make their very own comics, and unlock creativity with how-to videos such as draw-alongs with Anes Garbowska (DC Super Hero Girls). Activity sheets, coloring pages, blank comic pages, previews, and additional content will be shared on the social pages each day.

If social channels aren’t your thing, parents can have the daily content send to them through the DC Family newsletter straight to the email on Mondays and Fridays.

This weeks schedule for videos includes:

  • Wednesday, March 25, 2020 – “Make a Green Lantern Ring with Minh Lê”
  • Thursday, March 26, 2020 – “Superman Origami with Gene Luen Yang”
  • Friday, March 27, 2020 – “Make Your Own Superhero with Dustin Hansen”
