It almost feels like a lifetime ago, but when the DC Universe subscriber-based network launched it was dedicated to serving the fans of DC Comics with content that was specially curated to appeal to their love of all things DC. DC Daily an entertainment news block premiered on September 15, 2019, and brought its audience up to the minute news, announcements, fun-filled interviews with DC-related guests five-days-a-week and nary missed a beat! The series celebrated a milestone this week with its 400th Episode!
Filmed on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, California, DC Daily has become the go-to spot for catching up on all things DC with expert hosts including Amy Dallen, Sam Humphries, Samm Levine, Clarke Wolfe and more, expressing their own joy of fandom while bringing fans up to speed on the latest books in publication, movies and television series in production and debating everything from “Crisis” to “The New 52”. The show has premiered the newest Original Series coming to the network while bringing live coverage from Comic-Cons across the country.
They really drive home the excitement and specialness of the 400th Episode, the milestone was marked with guest appearances from DC Chief Creative Officer and Publisher Jim Lee and Jurnee Smollett who starred as Black Canary on the big screen blockbuster Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn. The episode aired on Thursday, April 23, and featured DC trivia master Alex Jaffee.
