If anything, January 26th has proven to be a big day for Blu-ray releases. Not only did Batman: Soul of the Dragon and Doom Patrol: The Complete Second Season hit store shelves today, but so did Snowpiercer: The Complete First Season. Collecting the entire inaugural run of the popular TNT drama, now is the time to play catch up because the show just kicked off its second season – and recently got renewed for a third.
If the Snowpiercer franchise sounds familiar to you, it should, because it’s based on the graphic novel Le Transperceneige, which spawned a few sequels and was later translated into English under the Snowpiercer banner. Then, in 2013, a feature film starring Daniel Craig was released. Now, the TV series expands upon that vision like never before.
