Summary
We Only Find Them When They’re Dead #5 drops us right back into the fray of the fight of Georges vs Paula. If “The Glorious Quest” gave us glimpses of what was going on between the two opposing forces, “Look, And You Find Them” gives us the truth of the matter. Let’s dive in.
This issue gives us the truth of why Georges and his brother switched shifts that fateful day. Paula finally learns the truth of what happened to her fiance and why her pain happened. Whose side readers will be on in this battle may teeter as information comes to light. And then there are the Gods themselves to contend with. It is safe to say that space is about to get a bit more crowded…
Positives
With issue #5, we get the end of Book One. It has been a wild and intriguing ride full of art that is beautiful and a wonder to behold. With this part of the story of the Vihaan II told and getting the closure of what happened with Captain Georges family and the crew of the Vihaan itself told…I for one am left speechless. I look forward to what the future holds now that the Gods are active.
Negatives
The only negative that this series has is that I am an impatient person. I want more and have to wait and that honestly just shows me how well the series grabs hold of you.
Verdict
You would be hard pressed to find a series able to always match their interior artwork with that of the covers themselves. This series has everything you could want, a thrilling sci-fi story, a personal battle, Gods, and beautiful art. It is such an original concept that I still say if you haven’t at least read an issue, you are letting yourself down.
