First Reactions To The Suicide Squad Surface

First reactions to The Suicide Squad have hit social media. Critics and fans who were lucky enough to see the film praise it’s violence, humor, cast and love how over the top the whole affair is. The film is described as “In The Suicide Squad, welcome to hell — a.k.a. Bell Reve, the prison with the highest mortality rate in the US of A. Where the worst Super-Villains are kept and where they will do anything to get out — even join the super-secret, super-shady Task Force X. Today’s do-or-die assignment? Assemble a collection of cons, including Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, Ratcatcher 2, Savant, King Shark, Blackguard, Javelin, and everyone’s favorite psycho, Harley Quinn. Then arm them heavily and drop them (literally) on the remote, enemy-infused island of Corto Maltese.”

If these first reactions to The Suicide Squad are any indication the film is both worth the wait and deserving of the hype. I think that a lot of fans can agree that idea of “the most James Gunn film ever” is incredibly intriguing. The film hits theaters and HBO Max Aug 6!
