Summary
Clark and Chrissy both begin to notice that Lois is not acting like her normal self. Superman confronts Bruno Manheim in Metropolis. Sara and Natalie plan to attend a party in Metropolis to get away from Smallville–with hilarious results.
Positives
Superman & Lois 3×02 was an incredible episode that provided a nice balance of action and comedy. As usual, Superman provides the action–especially during his confrontation with Bruno Manheim. However, it is the trip to Metropolis with Natalie and Sara that provides the much needed comedic relief in an otherwise action-packed episode.
Negatives
My one and only negative for this episode has to be Lois’ cancer reveal. My issues are not so much her revelation, but just the fact that we all know how much cancer really sucks, and it hurts to see this character go through that. The episode ends with the Kent family rallying around their mother like they should. Elizabeth Tulloch really brings the scene home, and you can see the hurt, yet also at the same time the hope that she has that she will beat this disease.
Verdict
Superman & Lois 3×02 was a really great episode and I’m eager to see how the Kent family–not just Superman–deals with this painful ordeal.
