Summary

My Adventures With Superman 2×06: Kidnapped and far from home, Superman bonds with his cousin Kara; he discovers the truth about the last days of Krypton from the last Kryptonians in existence.

Positives

This episode brings us a great introduction to Kara, aka Supergirl, and I must admit I was wrong in my previous review. This episode showed how Kara was manipulated and lied to, and although she doesn’t see it yet, this so-called emperor doesn’t have her interests at heart. Throughout the episode, Superman attempts to reach out to her about the benefits of being on Earth; however, Kara is solely focused on the benefits to the Kryptonian Empire.

Some big reveals are made in this episode, and they should have some serious consequences in the future. The reveal of the emperor definitely surprised me, and I expect that he’ll be a major threat to Superman in the near future – if Superman can even make it back to Earth, that is.

Negatives

This was a great episode, and I have no complaints about it.

Verdict

Overall, as I said previously, My Adventures With Superman 2×06 was a great episode, and I expect it to have serious ramifications in the future. The action was great, and the story was solid. Kara shows some serious emotion and growth, and this portrayal is better than some other iterations I’ve seen so far.
