Tim Burton’s Gotham City is returning to theaters this month as both Batman and Batman Returns will have a one-night special showing in Dolby Atmos at AMC theaters nationwide on August 25.

August 1, 2025 (San Francisco, CA) — Raise the Bat-Signal: Today Dolby and Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group announced that Tim Burton’s landmark Super Hero films Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992) will be brought back for a special one-night engagement on August 25 in ultra-vivid Dolby Vision picture and immersive Dolby Atmos sound. The films will be screened exclusively at over 160 Dolby Cinema at AMC Theatres locations in the US. Tickets go on sale today.
