DC Entertainment has adjusted the solicitation for Mad Magazine #551, re-naming it as Mad Magazine #1. Along with that, the publisher has delayed the book from its originally-solicited March 28 date to April 18.
On the magazine’s official Twitter, it announced that the issue would have “variant covers with glow-in-the-dark, lenticular, and scratch & sniff enhancements.”

Additional, the magazine would be published in a smaller, comic book format from this point forward.
This change comes as the newly-hired VP/Executive Editor Bill Morrison takes control of the magazine.
DC plans to reveal the Mad Magazine #1 cover during WonderCon later this month.
