The 1000th issue of Action Comics is almost here, and DC Comics has now released four pages from the upcoming historical issue.
The four pages come from a story in the issue written by Brian Michael Bendis and illustrated by Jim Lee. Jim Lee is a fan favorite illustrator and co -publisher of DC Comics. Brian Michael Bendis recently left Marvel after 20 years to join DC Comics and this issue will be his first story in the DC Universe.
Bendis introduces the new villain, Rogol Zar who also graces the cover to the upcoming DC Nation.
Action Comics #1000 will be released April 18, 2018
