Danielle Panabaker who plays Dr. Caitlin Snow, as well as Killer Frost on CW’s The Flash, will take the helm of an episode in the series fifth season.
Panabaker has been a strong participant on the show since its inception and his kept a strong presence throughout. Now she will take over an episode behind the scenes, but there has been no word on which episode it will be. Fans speculate that the season finale set up a large Killer Frost storyline for Caitlin going forward. Her relationship with her father and his untimely demise was teased so this might be the episode Panabaker takes on as it will be very Caitlin heavy.

The team will also be dealing with Nora Allen’s massive mistake that caused her to travel time and meet her father, Caitlin will need to be on her A-game to take on another speedster’s big problem.
Unlike other members of the show, Panabaker has yet to direct an episode and recently told ET in an interview:
“I am so humbled by this opportunity to utilize everything that I have learned as a storyteller to bring an episode of The Flash to life. I couldn’t be more thrilled to have the chance to work alongside our extremely talented (and vast) team that works so hard to make each and every episode of the show. I wouldn’t be here without the support of my Flash family, and I am so thankful for this opportunity to continue to grow and challenge myself as an artist.”
