Batman fans around the world (including us 90s kids) see Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy as the definitive Joker and Batman, respectively. Over the weekend Mark Hamill reflected on the 90s series that shot him into Joker stardom (I mean he was already famous as Luke Skywalker). After the series ended, Hamill was brought on to continue voicing The Clown Prince of Crime in a variety of films and video game series.
“It was truly an honor to be entrusted to play the character in the original Batman:TAS back in ’92,” Hamill said on Twitter. “I had no idea at the time the impact it would have on my career or how it would be received by Bat-fans worldwide- but it’s the gift that keeps on giving!”
