In honor of Batman Day, the Titans Twitter account released a clip that shows the first Robin, Dick Grayson, listening to Jason Todd, the second Robin, talk about how awesome it is to fight alongside Batman. The clip even includes a quick reference to the Batmobile that some fans will find charming.

It was long rumored and then confirmed not too long ago that Jason Todd would be appearing in the Titans television show for the DC Universe streaming service. Also note that Jason Todd (played by Curran Walters) appears to be in his late teenage years while Dick Grayson (played by Brenton Thwaites) is in his twenties (should give you an idea as to when the show takes place in the DCU timeline).
This clip is interesting because it shows the two Robins as just that – Two Robins. For those who have read DC comics throughout the years, you will know that the two Robins would eventually become other characters. Dick Grayson would go on to become Nightwing while Jason Todd would turn into Red Hood.
Although it might not happen soon, one could imagine those characters eventually changing during the course of the show. As always, we’ll have to wait and see.
