It’s incredible to think of this story as a whole. From rumors of a solo Joker film to the first set photos leaking out, the journey of the Joaquin Phoenix Joker solo film has been one of incredible determination and excitement.
Now it seems the first chapter has closed as director Todd Phillips hints at production ending in NYC with Phoenix. While that chapter may have closed, more photography may still be needed and filming may continue on other aspects. Robert De Niro has been cast in a secret role and has yet to be seen in any set leak or photo.
With official production ending with Phoenix, WB may be inclined to release an official photo instead of the leaks we have been getting.
Joker is set to hit theaters on October 4, 2019.
