DC Universe Originals’ Openers For Free!

There’s the walking bronze-colored robot with a race car driver’s brain living with a mummy, an empowered DID (dissociative identity disorder) woman, and an actress-turned-plastic-blob; then there’s the disgruntled former ‘Boy Wonder’ with blood on his hands and new proteges he didn’t ask for; and finally the clandestine team of sidekicks fighting a metahuman trafficking ring all available on the DC Universe streaming service…and it’s going to be free for a limited time.

Since its debut in September of 2018, the DC Universe Originals made a huge splash with its inception series Titans, and followed that with the long-requested, fan-petitioned, third season of Young Justice, and more recently Titans spinoff, Doom Patrol. However, like every streaming service, subscriptions are required and not every DC fan is lucky enough to afford access to these shows.

As a way to draw in potential subscribers, DCUO has made the pilot episodes of these shows available for free. From March 15 to March 29, DC Universe will allow free access to the first installments of Titans, Doom Patrol, and Young Justice: Outsiders on the official website or the DC Universe app. No registration or down payment will be required within this timeframe, and it’s the company’s hope to draw in new subscribers.

Future planned live-action series Swamp Thing and Stargirl are currently in production, while the animated Harley Quinn starring Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco is set to debut next year.
