After the rumours flying around the internet that Matt Damon would play the King of the Ocean Aquaman, news has come to light about the role and his best friend Ben Affleck. Damon addressed the rumours in an interview he did with CNBC meets, he said that “Since they made Ben Batman, I’ve been showing up at his house every day dressed as Robin, but my little campaign I don’t think has gone too well so far.”
Damon never mentioned the role of Aquaman but talked about the rumours about him playing Robin. Seeing that Damon is older than Affleck with Robin being a younger character than Batman this role seems a little too out of Damon’s range.
Damon went on to talk about the Batsuit, which made me real excited. He went on to say “”I have seen a picture. It’s excellent,” while talking to MTV News. This seems to mirror what Kevin Smith, another close friend of Affleck, said about the suit.   Damon also mentioned what else he talked to Affleck about like the plot, he said “And I’ve talked to him about the story line, and it’s great.” This seems to mirror what Kevin Smith, another close friend of Affleck, said about the suit. Smith said, after seeing the outfit on Zack Snyders phone, “They’ll (Snyder and Co.) tell you when they want you to know, but any Batman fan is going to be f*cking pleased. I’m going to tell you that right now. They gave you the suit you all wanted to see.”
We will see what the suit looks like and if Matt Damon will say anything else about the Batsuit in the near future. “Batman vs Superman” is being currently shot in Michigan. The movie is all set to release in 2016.
