Back in June, it was revealed that Sam Witwer (Being Human, Star Wars: The Clone Wars) would be voicing Orm aka Ocean Master, brother and enemy of Aquaman, in the upcoming DC animated film, Justice League: Throne of Atlantis.
Well, recently TVGuide.com released the rest of the cast, led by Matt Lanter as Aquaman.  Lanter and Witwer both worked on Star Wars: The Clone Wars as Anakin Skywalker and Darth Maul, respectively.
Joining them are many familiar names/voices, including Jason O’Mara as Batman, Shemar Moore as Cyborg, Christopher Gorham as Flash, and Sean Astin as Shazam, all reprising their roles from the last New 52 animated movie, Justice League: War. We will also see Jerry O’Connell voicing Superman again, Rosario Dawson returning as Wonder Woman, and Nathan Fillion coming back as Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern. Sumalee Montano, who voiced Katana on Beware the Batman, will voice Mera, the love interest of Aquaman and future queen of Atlantis.
The story is based loosely off the New 52 story of the same name, though as it was revealed in June, it will start with Arthur Curry knowing nothing of his heritage or Atlantean ties. Â “We meet him at a low point in his life,” says supervising producer James Tucker, “He’s a little bit lost. His father has died and he’s always been an outsider, so the one person who had his back is now gone. When that Atlanteans instigate incidents to escalate a war with the surface world, he doesn’t yet know who he is. As he discovers his true history he’s going to have a lot of choices to make. It’s definitely about him finding his own path.”
