Matt Ryan, star of the upcoming NBC series Constantine, attended Comic-Con this year to help promote the show. The show is based on the DC Comics/Vertigo series Hellblazer. Though it wasn’t Ryan’s first time being there at SDCC, the experience for the Welsh actor was a new whole ball game.
“There were the billboards and the buses and the fans,” Ryan reports of the ubiquitous marketing campaign for the series. “All the hardcore fans were there; some with Constantine’s signature trenchcoat and cigarette.”
NBC followed Ryan for a day while he was at the convention. Check out this video to see what he was up to.
Constantine premieres Friday, October 24 on NBC.
