Man of Steel is still about a week away from coming to the big screen but director Zack Snyder is already talking about a possible Justice League movie.
When asked by Herocomplex about other characters in the DCU and could they fit into his universe he had this to say
“Do the DC characters exist in the universe I created? The answer is yes,” Snyder said. “In my mind, we have this fantastic character of Superman. It’s not madness that there would be others.”
When he was pressed a bit about the specifics of a Justice League movie he added this.
“Now, that being said, does a ‘Justice League’ movie exist now? No,” he continued. “Whether or not I ever get to make that movie, I don’t know.”
His final thoughts on the matter can must be summed up with this final quote.
“What is real is that there’s a crack — a foot — in the door. That’s promising,” Snyder said. “The door is definitely open.”
It seems that this is affirmation of what a lot of us are already thinking. The future of the DCU movie universe is ridding on the Man of Steel box office take. So if you do not have your ticket already what are you waiting for?
