Batman: Arkham Knight figures have been revealed at the 112th North American International Toy Fair in New York City.
These figures are based on the Batman: Arkham Knight video game, which has a release date of June 6, 2015. The Batman: Arkham Knight is an action adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios and will be released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game will be available for the PlayStation 4 and X-Box One video game consoles as well as Microsoft Windows. This will be the fourth and final game in the popular Arkham series.
The games main storyline is set one year after the events of 2011’s Batman: Arkham City. Batman at the peak of his abilities confronts the Scarecrow who has returned to Gotham City to unite Batman’s enemies in a plot to finally put an end to the Dark Knight Detective. The game will finally introduce the Batmobile as a driveable vehicle, the Batmobile can be summoned to the player’s location while on foot or if airborne the Batmobile will meet Batman as he lands.
Arkham Knight features Kevin Conroy reprising his role as the voice of Batman. He is joined in his fight by Commissioner James Gordon and in her role as Oracle, Barbara Gordon. Batman will have his hands full taking on super villains like the Scarecrow, Penquin, Two-Face, Harley Quinn and the Riddler. Perhaps the biggest buzz this game has generated is the question, “who is the Arkham Knight?” A villain created specifically for this game by Rocksteady, DC Comics CCO Geoff Johns and DC Comics co-publisher Jim Lee. The Arkham Knight is described as a militarized version of Batman, with the “A” logo of the Arkham Asylum facility worn as an emblem on his chest.
The figures consist of Arkham Knight Batman, The Arkham Knight, Harley Quinn and Scarecrow. The other figures in the Arkham series include Arkham Asylum Batman, Arkham origins Batman, Arkham Knight Batman, Bruce Wayne, and a 3 pack consisting of Shiva, Dr. Harleen Quinzel and The Electrocutioner.
