Season 2 of The Flash is set to premier in fall on the CW, and it looks like the Scarlet Speedster has got himself a new love interest.
In season 2, a new character named Wendy is going to get a major recurring role. Wendy, a “spunky, fun and funny” cop for the CCPD, is going to Barry’s new love interest, who seems perfectly suited to him. She is described as bright and scientific minded, and the casting call reads “Think Felicity Smoak from Arrow“.
Since Iris lost Eddie at the end of season 1, it’s probably too soon for Iris and Barry to get together, even if they are supposed to be together. Wendy is set to be introduced in episode 2, and will have a recurring role throughout the rest of the season.
Season 2 of The Flash will air Tuesdays at 8pm in fall, on the CW.
