Summary
This issue contains within its pages everything needed from an 80s punk and metal album. There’re knights, guns, blood, rock shows, head banging, and mohawks. This issue is that start of a new story so it’s a great jumping on point if you haven’t started this series yet.
This issue sees Harley forging herself a mighty band to strike down the Knights o’ Crime!! We get to hear a little more detail about each character here, including a little more about Tony’s past. Red Tool also made a mighty reappearance and was great to see.
Red Tool has his own adventure that for the most part is contained from the Harley story, but it never feels out of place in this eclectic and strange tale.
Positives
Along with being a great jumping on point, the story feels to be the most stable and classical one yet. The characters all band together in this one and it makes a really fun story.
Negatives
Of all the issues in this series so far, this is the least Harley-esque, as she doesn’t have many moments of insanity and doesn’t really have a chance to bust out her verbal puns and saying.
Verdict
This issue was good, I rather enjoyed reading it. Seeing the characters change a little and come together again is another one.
