When it comes to The Flash TV show, Iris West is considered by some to be the show’s weakness. Could that be why Kiersey Clemons, the actress playing the character in the upcoming Justice League and The Flash: Flashpoint has decided to forgo watching the popular CW series?
She had this to say:
“When I do projects where it’s [characters that have been adapted before]… no. I will let it affect me. Actually, I lied. I saw a little bit of [The Flash TV show] before I did [Justice League]. But now it’s like, ‘Oh no, no, no.’ Because I’ll pull from it! I’ll be like, ‘I want to do that. No, I don’t want to do that.’ No, no, no.”
In the end it may all be for the best as The Flash faces a unique challenge of being the only member of the Justice League that has had their own TV show over the past few years. Maybe Clemons’ performance will be something that will help us differentiate the two universes of The Flash.
The Flash returns to The CW on October 10 at 8:00pm EST.
Justice League will hit theaters on November 17, 2017.
