Composer Carlos Villalobos Jr. has hinted, in now deleted social media posts, that he has been working on scoring the trailer for the Aquaman trailer. As fans got excited, the film’s director, James Wan, had to rain on their parade. According to CBR:
When asked by a Momoa fansite about the delivery date for the trailer, Wan urged “patience” and stated “lots of work. Wanna make sure it rocks.” So, for the moment, it looks like we’re left in the shallow end waiting to see how Aquaman’s story will unfold following the events of Justice League, where seeds were first sewn for him returning to his throne, developing his relationship with Mera (Amber Heard) and fighting off threats such as his brother Orm (Patrick Wilson) and Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II).
We may have to wait a bit for the trailer, but the movie hits theaters later this year on Dec. 21.
