Well it’s official official: Diana Prince, Wonder Woman, will be appearing in the sequel to Man of Steel.
Today Warner Bros. announced that 28 year old Israeli actress Gal Gadot has been cast in the part of the Princess of Paradise Island. Gadot is mostly known for her supporting role of Gisele Yashar in Fast and Furious, Fast Five, and Fast & Furious 6. Though she has played bit roles in major films previously, the role of Wonder Woman will surely be a major step into the spotlight for the actress.
Aside from acting, Gadot has also spent two years in the Israeli Defense Forces, as well as being a professional sports trainer, so getting into the correct fitness level for the character should not be a problem.
