This week news about new roles that were cast for the Batman Vs Superman movie was released.
The latest confirmed role was Ray Fisher taking the role of Cyborg, once a Teen Titan now a member of the Justice League.
Now news has come to light that the Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa will have a, so far un-named, role in the film. The Conan the Barbarian star is rumoured to play the role of either Aquaman or Doomsday. But if you were to ask my opinion I would say he could play the fan-favourite mercenary Lobo, he has the look for the role going from how he appeared in both Game of Thrones and also Conan the Barbarian. According to the trivia section on the Batman Vs Superman IMDb it says Momoa was speculated to play Doomsday. This could lead to very interesting plot and story progression in the film.
When Talking to IGN.com Momoa said “It’s just rumours. I want to say something amazing, but I can’t comment on rumours. It’s flattering. I’m not involved in it.” There are also rumours floating around the internet that good friend of Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, will be playing Aquaman but like I said it’s all rumours.
All we can do is wait until more news about Momoa and any other castings comes to light in hopefully the near future. If Momoa decides to join he will be working beside the likes of Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Jesse Eisenberg. Batman Vs Superman is said to be released in the 6th of May in 2016.
